How Do PFAS Interact With Lake Food Webs? Dartmouth Researchers To Find Out This Summer. - Salem, NH - Scientists will study 6 lakes Arlington Mill Reservoir, Beaver Lake, Canobie Lake, Cobbetts Pond, Horseshoe Pond, and Robinson Pond.
This summer, Dartmouth scientists will be studying six New Hampshire lakes to learn more about PFAS in lake food webs. The study “will examine PFAS movement from lake sediment and water to fish and other organisms,” according to the project.
One of its largest spikes came because of the suicide deaths of soldiers who had deployed between 2010 and 2012 within the state’s infantry battalions, the 181st and 182nd.
