Healthy Diets in Fragile Contexts: Peer-to-Peer Learning Forum

The World Food Programme (WFP) and Partners are pleased to announce that on April 11th at 15:00 CEST they will be holding the first Peer-to-Peer Learning Forum of the ‘Healthy Diets in Fragile Contexts’ Special Project 3 under the umbrella of the Coalition of Action on Healthy Diets from Sustainable Food Systems for Children and All (HDSFS). This event will aim to: Showcase country-level examples being implemented by the HDSFS Special Project 3 Member Countries to improve access to healthy diets in fragile settings. Feature new research and global expertise from leading organisations working to strengthen food systems and improve nutrition in fragile settings. National Pathways: Spotlight on nutrition, gender and food system policy actions

The UN Food Systems Summit (UNFSS) garnered global attention to the need to transform our food systems to ensure they contribute positively to people’s nutrition and health, while protecting our planet. Countries submitted national pathways detailing their commitment and strategy towards food systems transformation. GLOPAN, CARE and WHO analyzed the pathways to determine how successfully health, nutrition, gender equality and systemic issues, including environmental and implementation policy actions were integrated into these pathways.
