The Saints knocked off Lamoni twice during the season, once in the Bluegrass Conference Tournament. Melcher-Dallas’ first victory over Lamoni was January 18th, when the Saints knocked off the Devils 70-55. The Saints got a 25-point, nine-rebound, nine-steal performance from Lane VanderLinden and a 13-points, ten-rebound double-double from Steven Krpan.   In their second matchup with the Devils on January 27th, the Saints shot a season-high 50% from the field and 40% from beyond the arc in a 51-50 win. Ryan Krpan had 18 points, six rebounds, and four steals in the victory, while VanderLinden had 12 points, five boards, three blocks, and three swipes in the Tournament Quarterfinal. Coach Jim Wells tells KNIA Sports that he thinks the two wins over the Devils were the most impressive victories of the season.
