local communities. its turned into a police involved shooting. it began around 7:20 yesterday afternoon near the 400 block of pond street. police say two men were in a car which was pulled over when a shot was fired from an officer s weapon. one of the men was struck and is being treated at a local hospital. the second man in the vehicle ran away from the scene and police are still looking for him. there s no word why the officer fired the weapon. a former prince george s county correctional officer has been indicted for his alleged role in the death of ronnie white. white died in 2008 inside his jail cell just two days after being arrested for allegedly killing a police officer. matt jablow has more on this development. reporter: on june 27th, 2008, 19-year-old ronnie white was arrested for the hit and run death of richard finley. the death that sparked an outpouring of grief and anger. just hard to take in. reporter: two days later white was found unresponsive
