The 3Food4U charity has seen the number of families using the non-judgmental and non-assessed service rise every week as word has spread. The hub has also been visited by Brentwood and Ongar MP Alex Burghart and North Weald councillor Jaymey McIvor. Thank you so much to all of the volunteers and generosity of our community for helping to make it happen. Angie Pearson with Helin Four children or families now have a new laptop computer thanks to the generosity of a charity’s supporters. Melanie and Andrew Seymour asked 3food4u, the community initiative that has been helping the vulnerable throughout the pandemic, to nominate four families/children to receive a laptop. The charity worked with Angie Pearson from Waltham Abbey Youth 2000 and decided to give the computers to: Helin, a 15-year-old who wants be a cardiologist and one day start her own clinic. Kye was so pleased to be one of the recipients Eleven-year-old Kye, who was overwhelmed with gratitude and wants a career in construction.
