Authorities say 55-year-old Edgar Pike was reported missing by his wife Tuesday. Police say she last saw him when he left for work at 6:30 Monday morning and last spoke to him during his lunch break at around 11:30 that morning. Salem County Man Gets 57 Months for Illegally Possessing a Gun

A Salem County man, who has three prior felony convictions, was sentenced on Wednesday to 57 months in prison for illegally possessing a handgun. 28-year-old Rahim Seals previously pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a firearm by a previously convicted felon. On Dec. 27, 2019, while Seals was walking in Salem City, detectives from the Salem City Prosecutor’s Office attempted to arrest Seals on an outstanding warrant. Seals fled and dropped a Sig Sauer P238 .380 caliber handgun loaded with seven hollow point rounds of ammunition. Seals has three prior felony convictions, including a controlled substance offense and two resisting arrest offenses.
