The Amazing 116-year-old South Jersey Bridge No One Can Drive On
Not too long ago, I found myself driving around Salem County. My travels took me between Elsinboro
(where the heck is that?) and Quinton
(that s next to where the heck is that? ), near the unincorporated village of Hancocks Bridge
(population 254, in case you were wondering and I know you were). I saw a sign that said BRIDGE CLOSED and off in the distance was an old bridge, so naturally I had to check it out.

What I found was one of the coolest bridges in South Jersey and it has quite a history that dates back to 1905 (to put that in perspective, the Spanish Flu global pandemic was still over a decade away from happening and Edward C. Stokes was the Governor of New Jersey).

Rocket) will be studying, radio waves that escape through the Earth’s ionosphere impacting the environment surrounding GPS and geosynchronous satellites, such as those for weather monitoring and communications, according to the space agency.

They say,
VIPER is studying very low frequency radio, or VLF, waves that are produced by both natural (e.g. lightning) and artificial means. During the day these waves are trapped or absorbed by the Earth’s ionosphere. At night, however, some of the waves escape through the ionosphere and accelerate electrons in the Van Allen Radiation Belt.
Attorney General Gurbir Grewal says two men from New York City have been indicted by a state grand jury for allegedly stabbing two other men during a fight inside Tropicana in Atlantic City last summer.
31-year-old Jabari O. Cummings of Brooklyn and 33-year-old Delroy H. McNeil of Queens were each indicted on Friday on the following charges:
Aggravated Assault (2nd Degree)
Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (4th Degree)
In addition, Cummings was charged with Possession of Cocaine (3rd Degree) and Tampering with Physical Evidence (4th Degree).

Authorities say in the early morning hours of July 20th, 2020, a large fight broke out inside Tropicana that involved men from two groups, one from New York City, including Cummings and McNeil, and one from New Jersey. During a fight in a restroom, McNeil allegedly stabbed a man from the New Jersey group in the chest and abdomen.
Galloway Police Search for Man Last Seen in Egg Harbor City
Cops in Galloway Township are asking for your help finding a man who was last seen in Egg Harbor City Monday afternoon.
Authorities say 55-year-old Edgar Pike was reported missing by his wife Tuesday. Police say she last saw him when he left for work at 6:30 Monday morning and last spoke to him during his lunch break at around 11:30 that morning.

He was last seen leaving Barrette Outdoor Living, where he worked, at 545 Tilton Road in Egg Harbor City (the former Lenox China plant) at around 3:35 that afternoon.
A Salem County man, who has three prior felony convictions, was sentenced on Wednesday to 57 months in prison for illegally possessing a handgun.
28-year-old Rahim Seals previously pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a firearm by a previously convicted felon.
On Dec. 27, 2019, while Seals was walking in Salem City, detectives from the Salem City Prosecutor’s Office attempted to arrest Seals on an outstanding warrant. Seals fled and dropped a Sig Sauer P238 .380 caliber handgun loaded with seven hollow point rounds of ammunition. Seals has three prior felony convictions, including a controlled substance offense and two resisting arrest offenses.
