Just about another, this one in koster county. Frank, good afternoon. Mike, good afternoon. Contra costa county has suffered it first loss to the coronavirus. The death toll is at 17 in the state of california. Health officials tell us the person was a patient at a Contra Costa County hospital and died sometime thursday. Health officials would not confirm if it was a male or female. The person lived in the county. Apparently they were in their 70s. Health officials expect more deaths from covid19 in the county and they cannot stress enough that you should take care of yourself. This death underscores the urgent need for all close to contra residents to follow the stayathome order and maintain social distancing the state order just issued last night. We believe that by following these orders we can reduce the spread of the virus right now in our community and that will save lives. There are currently 42 cases of the coronavirus and this number has jumped from six to 42. Doctors have off

Morning everybody. Welcome everybody to the b. I. C. Meeting of february 2019. Congratulations to director who participated in other Safety Outreach Program graduation january 20th. Another 48 residents grafted from a fiveday training course. This brings our total number of seismic safety ambassador to 4000 since the Program Began in 2015. Were better prepared to recover quickly. Special thanks to all the d. B. I. Employees who volunteered for the chinatown fair. They talked with Community Members about our housing information service, Emergency Preparedness and distributed 300 first aid kits and 15 of our emergency backpacks. Several Chinese New Year events in chinatown throughout the city, chief among them was the annual Chinese New Year parade. Many thanks for representing the department. Finally, d. B. I.
