Updated They include proposals for 139 homes on the site of a former school in a Acklam.
Applicant Avant Homes is to develop land on the former St David s Catholic School, which was demolished after it closed its doors more than a decade ago.
The site - at the end of St David s Way, off the busy Hall Drive which is home to a secondary school and two football clubs - has remained empty ever since.
The application has proved controversial due its location next to the Avenue of Trees - a popular local beauty spot.
