A car ploughed over at least four graves in scenes that left cemetery visitors distraught this afternoon. Qumar Aziz was visiting a loved one s grave at High Wycombe cemetery when he witnessed the shocking incident on Wednesday, March 10. A driver in a silver Toyota had somehow managed to run over around four or five graves, causing major upset for families who were visiting relatives. Mr Aziz, who filmed the aftermath of the incident, told the Bucks Free Press that sentimental items and flowers on graves were left broken and strewn across the ground. He said: This sort of thing has happened before but never as bad as this. Something needs to be done about it.
Aldi has unveiled “exciting plans” to open a store in Amersham. The supermarket giant is looking to open a store on the site of the former Jaguar dealership in London Road West, between the A413 and A355. Amersham residents have received a feasibility study from Aldi, which says: “A new store would provide local people with easier access to our popular, high quality, great value offer. “The proposal will enhance local shopping choice, reduce the need to travel and create at least 40 new jobs.” American burger chain Five Guys have confirmed that their High Wycombe branch will open their doors on March 15.
