Cork County Council will engage in dialogue with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) over protocols and funding in order to carry out a traffic management plan for the town of Fermoy.
It was agreed at a recent Fermoy Municipal District meeting that Cork County Council would write to the Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) asking them to consider putting an on/off access road from the N72 at the Hospital Road entrance to Fermoy to the motorway in the interest of safety.
