A deputation led by the Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Frank O’Flynn, elected members and Cork County Council officials held a ‘constructive’ meeting with the Minister of State at the Department for Transport Jack Chambers on Wednesday, April 24.
Cork County Council will engage in dialogue with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) over protocols and funding in order to carry out a traffic management plan for the town of Fermoy.
“They are a disgrace,” said Cllr Tony O’Shea over the continuing delays with regard to Uisce Éireann reinstatement works on roads throughout Cork County.
