Kingston Police arrested an 18-year-old local male after they say he assaulted a woman in a local hotel with an imitation handgun in Monday’s early morning hours.
According to a police news release, at 3:30 a.m. the male teen was in a hotel room in Kingston’s north end with friends to meet with the female victim, who was known to him. Upon arrival, an argument ensued and the teenager pulled out a handgun and struck the victim in the arm with the butt of the weapon. The accused, along with his friends, then left the room and fled the scene in a motor vehicle in an unknown direction.
