Back about a block right now. There are still spots of active fire on the third floor of this building. As you mentioned, one person died in this fire. 6 people were injured and 46 people are homeless this morning. It was a dramatic scene last night. Debris falling from this mixed use building on to the street below. This is in San Franciscos Mission district. And the fire was intense as you can see. Parts of the ceiling collapsing making fighting this fire very difficult. It started before 7 00 last night at the intersection of 22nd street. Now, the top floor of this building is all homes. So firefighters worked feverishly to search for people while trying to keep the fire from spreading. But there came a point where they just had to step away. And as of this morning, they still havent even come close to assessing the damage to this building. The most was done though to the third floor with smoke and water damage to the rest. Today the infants parents headed to court. Authorities charged the Delaware County couple with endangering their children after the mauling. Much of this area now getting into the icing here. Sleet and freezing rain. The temperatures are below freezing. Were coming toward the nighttime hours.
