To mark Gandhi Jayanti, the Andhra Pradesh government on Saturday rolled out Clean Andhra Pradesh (CLAP) - its mega initiative to promote cleanliness and sanitation in the state. Chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the CLAP .
Under the CLAP initiative, 4,097 garbage collecting vehicles would be deployed in 13 districts of the state. Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy formally launched the programme by flagging off 2,600 vehicles.
