A mans body was found following a fire near i 9. 80, in oakland. That fire was reported shortly before one 30 this morning. Chp says the Oakland Fire Department saw a man starting the fire in the westbound lane of the 17th street offramp. Firefighters later found a burn victim with head trauma at the offramp. That offramp is now reopened. All lanes are open as well. Meanwhile, in San Francisco, fire crews have contained a massive fire in the citys hayes valley neighborhood. 8 people have been displaced. Father. Investigators say that she was found Early Morning in the easternmost part of alameda county. Share deputies said that she was tied up, step Sheriff Deputies say that she was tied up, and stabbed to death. Investigators say that they are not sure what motivated the killing but they know that she fought hard to survive. The fact that she was so strong and able to survive it is a testament to her character as a person. What we have learned with this investigation, is that she survived for quite a bit of time against these odds. Authorities have identified the two suspects as daniel gross and his fiancie melissa leonardo. They were arrested at their home in modesto 12 hours after the victim was found. The two are behind bars. Some of her friends held a vigil tonight. It took place at the one spot where the 19yearold found peace and taxation relaxation. This is now in south san jose.
