Law enforcement agencies respond to more than 35 crashes on snow-covered roadways

Five members of a Salesville area family escaped with only minor injuries when the vehicle they were traveling in was involved in a rollover accident on Fairground Road Wednesday afternoon.
The driver, Madelyn Caughron, 39, and four children, Becky, 15; Jennifer, 11; Timothy, 8; and Jimmy, 5, were treated at the scene by medical personnel from the Old Washington Volunteer Fire Department.
The accident was one of more than 35 crashes reported on snow-covered roadways in Guernsey and Noble counties as a storm moved through southeastern Ohio leaving behind several inches of snow.
