Someone called Domino’s Pizza to report that their pizza never arrived just before midnight Thursday. Jackson Police Sgt. Tony Matthews said that’s because a 19-year-old intercepted the Domino’s delivery driver, took the pizza and ran off with it. Officers found the teen in his car in the Albertsons parking lot. It’s unclear if they found the pizza, but they found marijuana-related products in the car, and the Montana man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. At 2 a.m. Sunday an officer observe d an Idaho man staggering before falling to the ground. The 39-year-old smelled strongly of alcohol and used a nearby building on West Broadway to steady himself, reports stated. He was arrested for public intoxication after the officer tried to find him a ride or a place to stay.

More than a dozen people called 911 in response to the contr olled burns on the National Elk Refuge in the past week. While the smoke was visible for miles, the fires were intentionally set and monitored by National Park Service firefighters to reduce available fuels ahead of the dry summer season. A worker at Mike’s Body Shop called police April 21 to report a customer who drove off without paying a $2,211 repair bill. The repair shop made repeated calls to the 66-year-old Oregon man, but he never returned their calls, according to Jackson Police Sgt. Russ Ruschill. The man reportedly told the repair shop he needed to take the car to another shop.
