The Bitterroot Community Band is celebrating its 40th anniversary with exciting performances throughout the valley this summer kicking off Thursday, June 29.
Bitterroot Community Band Serves Up Summer Sounds
After a lengthy intermission, the Bitterroot Community Band is back in action. COVID restrictions prevented performances and even rehearsals for the group this past year. Some members have left the group and new members are learning the tunes as the summer season begins.tonight!
The first public performance this year will be at the Bitterroot Community Bandshell, at Hamilton s Claudia Driscoll Park. The bandshell was built by volunteers and is used for various musical presentations during the warmer Montana months. The band is there Thursday, June 24, at 7:30 p.m. for its every-other-week sunset symphony of songs. The schedule includes performances July 8, July 22 and August 5.
