The Windsor Essex County Health Unit has announced 250 new cases of COVID-19 in Windsor and Essex County as of Wednesday, bringing the local total to 6,323.
Cases increased from 6,073 on Tuesday December 22nd to 6,323 on Wednesday December 23rd and 1,305 cases of COVID-19 are currently active in Windsor-Essex.
Wednesday’s 250 new cases is another new record number of daily cases for Windsor-Essex. The previous record was 243 new cases on December 18th.

The Health Unit says 32 cases are outbreak related, 13 cases are close contacts of confirmed cases, 6 cases are community acquired, and 199 cases are still being investigated.

The Windsor Essex County Health Unit has announced 213 new cases of COVID-19 in Windsor and Essex County as of Tuesday, bringing the local total to 6,073.
Cases increased from 5,861 on Monday December 21st to 6,073 on Tuesday December 22nd and 1,186 cases of COVID-19 are currently active in Windsor-Essex.

The Health Unit says 37 cases are outbreak related, 12 cases are close contacts of confirmed cases, 2 cases are healthcare workers working in Michigan, 1 case is community acquired, and 161 cases are still being investigated.

The Windsor Essex County Health Unit has announced 127 new cases of COVID-19 in Windsor and Essex County as of Monday, bringing the local total to 5,861.
Cases increased from 5,734 on Sunday December 20th to 5,861 on Monday December 21st and 1,141 cases of COVID-19 are currently active in Windsor-Essex.
The Health Unit says 16 cases are related to outbreaks, 3 cases are close contacts of confirmed cases, 2 cases are community acquired, and 106 cases are still under investigation

They say 4,622 people locally have recovered (an increase of 52 recoveries today).
There have been no new deaths from COVID-19 as of Monday and the local death toll stands at 98.
