People’s Assembly for the North Central Plan A resident-led Planning Table is hosting its next People’s Assembly for the North Central Plan. The Table invites Covenant Blu Grand Center and Vandeventer neighborhood residents and supporters to attend, share examples of development wins and community building work seen in the Plan’s footprint and ask how the People’s Assembly can provide additional support to move community priorities forward together. The City of St. Louis Planning and Design Agency, Vandeventer Community Development Corporation and Covenant Blu Grand Center Neighborhood Association will be in attendance.
Get Out of Your Way: 5 Self-Sabotaging Behaviors to Let Go Nya B, MA, NCC, LPC and the founder of S Brown Counseling will host her “Get Out of Your Way: 5 Self-Sabotaging Behaviors to Let Go” event on Saturday, May 21 at the Brentwood Community Center from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event is a workshop geared towards helping those experiencing professional or personal burnout overcome their self-sabotaging behaviors to lead to a healthier and happier life. When professionals may experience depression or feel anxious, there is a longstanding pressure to ignore their own needs as they help their clients through their journeys.
