CLAY CLASS / Mud and Mindfulness Ages 18+ (4-week session starts) Did you know that the art of ceramics helps improve mood, promotes problem solving and awakens creativity? This 4-week class encourages you to release your inner child through playful experimentation and mindfully working with clay. Explore form, texture and color through the processes of wheel throwing, hand building, sculpting and glazing— all in a critique free environment. Wear old clothes, bring a towel and plan on getting messy!
CLAY CLASS / Wheel Throwing Ages 16+ (5-week session starts) Learn the techniques of wheel throwing and glazing to make functional clay pieces and non-functional sculptures. Designed to serve both first-timers and those well-experienced in wheel throwing, this 5-week class allows for one-on-one instruction in a laid back environment. Class may be repeated.
