COSHOCTON - Clary Gardens is celebrating its 20th anniversary and is opening the summer season with a cleanup day.
Volunteers are invited to drop in from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 15 at Clary Gardens, 588 W. Chestnut St. There will be pruning and preparing the premier garden areas for the upcoming season. This includes cleaning, pruning and fertilizing several rose varieties and hydrangea.
Volunteer groups will meet at 10 a.m. near the rose garden gazebo. Bring your own rose gloves or garden gloves and pruners, if possible. Protective clothing such as long sleeves, pants and close-toed shoes/boots are recommended. One can also bring their own lunch, snacks and water.
