saturday morning, she has no right to look this good, says gabby giffords neurosurgeon, but she does. but in our fifth story, they have been supplanted by too far more grim words about the congresswoman by the man charged with shooting her. pima county sheriff s chief rick castigar told the press this morning that a fourth note had been found in jared loughner s home, besides the ones that read, i planned ahead, my assassination, and just giffords. the fourth one simply read, die bitch. clarence dupnik also revealed that on the morning of the attack, loughner s father saw him take a black bag out of a car trunk. when the elder loughner tried to confront his son, loughner mumbled something and began to run. the elder loughner got into his truck and chased his son into the desert. he obviously did not stop him. within hours, investigators also say loughner emptied 31 shells,
for doing the right thing and enforcing the law. bill: all right. i don t know if he is blaming the people of arizona for the murders, but this is what is interesting to me. maricopa county and pima counties are adjacent counties. big counties. you and dupnik are total opposite in every way. explain to the people who don t live in arizona how you can get elected and how he can get elected when you are so far apart? well, i think you have to ask the voters that. bill: you must know though. you must know. well, i don t know about pima county. of course, when i go down there, they demonstrate against me all the time. i don t know i m concerned about maricopa county. so i can t answer that how he gets reelected. i have known him for many, many, many years. bill: has he always been this left wing? has he always injected politics into criminal cases? well, quite frankly, bill, i haven t associated with him that
been better served by a real sheriff, one who spent his time trying to lock up nut bags and criminals rather than finding ways to excuse them. he hasn t pointed out a single thing that i have said that would inspire such a heinous act. clarence dupnik joins us now. let me ask you about what you make of that. did you know you would open up a hornet s nest for the right radio? no, i had no idea. well, you have. and the question is what do you make of it? do you think that s the right thing to do? on second thought, do you think there is a connection between the atmospherics, the hatred of government you hear every day on radio, of obama, the language all the time that they re evil and taking over the country with socialism, et cetera, et cetera. do you think that has anything to do with this person s behavior in this tragedy?
