Yesterday was the third day of the garlic festival. Within minutes of shootings being reported police were able to find and confront and ultimately shoot and kill the gunman. Their investigative remains active overnight. The gunman may have had help from a second possible suspect. We believe they saw witnesses , there was a second individual involved in some way, we just dont know in what way. We have crews working to try to track down and identify leads regarding the second suspect. We are very hopeful with the witnesses and statements that people were able to give us, that they will be able to help us to do that. Police do not have a description of that second possible suspect. Despite the fact that they were outgunned with handguns against the rifle, the officers were able to fatally wound the suspect. One person is dead and five others are injured after a gas pipeline ruptured causing a massive explosion in kentucky. 75 people had to be evacuated overnight. Officials say flames reached about 300 feet in the air and could even be seen on the weather radar.
