There are several Resources Available for people because their sense of safety and security has been shattered. Community agencies like the department of Behavioral Health and gilroy United School district, also collaborated with Community Solutions and Childrens Services opened their doors for anyone in need of healing. They had help from the center for living with therapy dogs. Experts say it will be a long and collaborative effort. This is not about isolationism. Police tell us they cited 18 people including one minor, all but one have been released. This protest started on tuesday. They set up tents and camped here for two nights. Police cited them for illegal lodging. These activists are with abolish i. C. E. Sf. One member said if San Francisco city leaders wont break up i. C. E. , the people need to take action. Protests have been scheduled to take place in front of the i. C. E. Building every day at noon during the month of august. Those protests are set to start today. Abolish i. C. E. Sf is not affiliated with that group or those plans. The i. C. E. Building is going to be seeing a lot of activity recently. Police had blocked off washington street in front of the i. C. E. Police are investigating a shoot that left two men with lifethreatening injuries. Officers responded to report of a shooting near cesar chavez before 10 30 last night. Santa clara county supervisor dave cortese tells abc news he received a confidential memo that details a security plan developed between the fairs management and the Santa Clara County Sheriffs Office. Cortese didnt reveal the details but said the plan will ensure that fair goers have a safe and enjoyable time. The fairgrounds are located on tully road in san jose. The fair runs through sunday. In Sonoma County there are upgraded security measures when that fair opens today. Visitors will have to go through a metal detector. Every truck has to be inspected.
