Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will be the United States’ first female vice president, the highest-ranking female elected official in U.S. history, and the first Black and first Asian American vice president. The American people have spoken with their voice and vote.
As president and vice president of the Afro American Historical and Genealogical Society’s New Jersey chapter, we are overjoyed to celebrate this major milestone with Vice President-elect Harris, her family and our nation.
