Waterford, Ireland / WLR Apr 21, 2021 5:24 PM Waterford River Rescue and Waterford Fire Service retrieved a casualty from the River Suir this afternoon who has been taken to UHW. At 16:02 today the Irish Coast Guard activated the pagers of Waterford City River Rescue. The incident involved a person in difficulty in the River Suir. Waterford City River Rescue and Waterford City Fire Service responded to this incident. The causality was successfully retrieved from the water by WCRR and Waterford City Fire Service. An Garda Síochána were also present at the scene. The casualty was handed over to Waterford Ambulance Station and transported to University Hospital Waterford.
