Inspections rule is so important is because if there is a new design or new materials being proposed it will catch something early on. Reporter also included in the City Council Decision is the requirement of existing balconies and weather exposed elements to have proper vent lake to prevent dry rot. The city council estimates that these inspections affect about 6,000 properties in the city. Back to you. Christian, someone has to pay for all those inspections. How is berkeley going to do that .
