Throughout the March of 1962 protest at Lock Haven State College, students rang the campus bell.

Several hundred students, clamoring “We want a Gray Day,” demonstrated on the Lock Haven State College campus last night. The demonstration included a water battle with police and firemen, called out when students blocked the intersection of Water St. and the Renovo Road just off campus.

JERSEY SHORE West Pharmaceutical is expanding as it plays a “critical role” in the fight against COVID-19.
The local legacy manufacturer of components and systems for injectable drug delivery, plastic packaging and other components for the healthcare and consumer products markets across the globe is investing $35 million in its facilities in the borough, including a 1,070 square-foot building expansion.
“The whole team at Jersey Shore is very excited about this project and what it means for our customers and patients’ lives around the world,” said Marty Miller, senior director of operations at West Pharmaceutical in Jersey Shore. “West’s Jersey Shore site is playing a critical role in the production of components being used directly in the fight against COVID-19.”
