‘Day for Gray’ campaign starts lively evening Jan 26, 2021 EXPRESS ARCHIVES Throughout the March of 1962 protest at Lock Haven State College, students rang the campus bell. Several hundred students, clamoring “We want a Gray Day,” demonstrated on the Lock Haven State College campus last night. The demonstration included a water battle with police and firemen, called out when students blocked the intersection of Water St. and the Renovo Road just off campus.

of parts stolen LOGANTON Schrack’s Valley Services Inc. in Loganton was the victim of a $7,500 theft, state police at Lamar said. Fifty aluminum rims were stolen from the business between Dec. 20, 2020 and Jan. 2. It’s believed they may have been or will be scrapped, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Lamar at 570-726-6000. DUI charge LOGANTON A 62-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop along Interstate 80 East near mile marker 193, Greene Township, state police at Lamar said. The stop occurred on Jan. 7 at 8:01 a.m. Charges will be filed through district court, police said.
