Ease of Doing Business: Twelve states have been granted additional borrowing permission
Ease of Doing Business: Four more states have undertaken the stipulated reforms under ease of doing business, allowing them to avail additional financial borrowings worth Rs 5,034 crore, said the Ministry of Finance in a statement on Saturday, February 6. New Delhi [India], Jan 6 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh have become the first states to complete three out of four citizen-centric reforms stipulated by the Ministry of Finance.
The two states have completed the One Nation, One Ration Card reforms, Ease of Doing Business reforms, and Urban Local Bodies reforms, according to an official statement issued on Wednesday.
The Department of Expenditure has decided to provide additional financial assistance of Rs 1,004 crore to these states under the newly-launched scheme of Special Assistance to States for Capital Expenditure.
