Around the highs of the session, we are singing seeing bigger point swings returning to the markets over the past several weeks. The telecoms index is the best performing group, up by about 1 . Technology has also been gaining. When you look at the telecoms and the networking of equipment stocks, at t, verizon, cisco, all on the rise. A couple of events going on this week could be giving them a boost. First, you have the mobile World Congress going on in barcelona. Thats the meeting of various telecom and mobile phone companies. They have talked about the push for five g technology and how it could be beneficial. Media, the Morgan Stanley tech conference will be going on over the next four days or so. Looks like these companies are catching a bid, going into that. Then there is technology. Looking at technology ever since the broader stock market hit it flows of the year, it is the group that has done the best. Incidentally, it is the leading group for the year to date. Tech has contin
Would rather live in tents on one issue i was really excited to return to my home and see it now when i see it in this state i wish id never come back this was iraqs second largest city founded thousands of years ago and its been a pillar of religion architecture and culture ever since its reconstruction will never be the same if it even happens and its population will be massively diminished official sources the iraqis in the us have all three understated the sheer volume of civilians suffering and death a thousand they said investigative journalists put the figure around ten thousand a Senior Health chief in mosul who didnt want to be filmed told us the number is much higher. This book alone contains the names of seven thousand dead victims i have four or five of these every day we got two or three more bodies victims of new explosions it will take tens of billions of dollars to rebuild mosul alone and there is a more pressing issue to deal with first the bodies the iraqis hoped the
Students going why are we here were supposed to talk about race this is really hard. The other student said because you came because this is the first time and maybe the only time you wouldve talk to someone that looks like me. So, i see hope. These are not always for everyone. I do not think you have to worry as much about getting everyone in the conversation as starting the conversation, and bringing the students in an wielding these conversations out with real in and wielding these conversations out. If we think every time we meet we have to change the curriculum or redo everything, we will not make progress, but its every time we meet we have an income until idea, we try it, tested, put it back in place, students will come, start believing in the process. I think carolina conversations is one step and stay tuned i will come back next year and tell you about the rest. It is pretty important. I think almost every campus in america is probably going to be doing something more trying S
The classic sell on the news and its not selling all that much on the news. No, and i dont think any of us were calling for a big selloff. I just thought that going into the event, judge, if you could sell at the money calls which i did at 160, at 162 and 164 you would have a cushion do we get into the 150s, could, maybe even the low 150s but im not calling for a 5 , 10 selloff. Im saying its going to be a flat period while we wait for the first phones to make it to market last two days of the quarter really even as, you know, gene munster was calling for a bigger pullback and even some of the things that linked out aday ahead werent even factual so we should have put a caveat out in the first place. Every time they have launched a product theres been an overreaction of what the stock has done in the aftermath of the launch is wall street saying they dont think its a good phone or they are not innovating anymore, et cetera, and i actually got so sick of listening to that as somebody wh

Lets start with President Trumps visit to the United Nations. Lets start with kevin cirilli. What does the president need to do here . During campaigning, he said the United Nations was no friend to the United States. This comes at a time when nikki haley has sought to work with the chinese and russians in building a coalition to pressure north korea to dismantle nuclear ambitions. David is there anything specific he is asking for on sanctions . Kevin i think in terms of where this goes, it is in the energy sector. Further isolating north korea from International Trade partners, china being t
