Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat have cancelled Class 12 board exams in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. States like UP, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu are yet to take a decision.

A decision was announced today after PM chaired a meeting of top ministers and officials. After the meeting, the Govt stated that Class 12 results will be made “as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner”.
It was also decided that like last year, in case some students desire to take the exams, such an option would be provided to them by CBSE, as and when the situation becomes conducive.

The Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced cancellation of Class 12 board exams in view of the COVID-19 situation in the country, Board Secretary Gerry Arathoon said on Tuesday.
