A NEW mural has been created at Cirencester Hospital for families and loved ones of patients receiving end-of-life care. The en-suite room provides a bed, shower, TV, drinks and a quiet space off the ward so that a family or loved one can take a rest or have some time to their own thoughts. Matron Linda Edwards said: “With the help of charitable funds and the League of Friends, funding was available for a mural to be commissioned. “Staff from the wards at Cirencester Hospital who appeared to have a creative eye were asked to meet the artist – Brandon – and a request was made for a calm and distracting mural for the walls of the family room.
