An interim report from air accident investigators says the footballer Emiliano Sala had been exposed to harmful levels of Carbon Monoxide before a fatal plane crash over the channel. The report says it is likely the pilot David Ibbotson was also exposed to the gas, potentially reducing his ability to fly the aircraft.
