New Delhi, April 20: The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the Cinematograph (Amendment) Bill 2023 which aims to curb piracy in film content and protect the creative industry.
Union I&B Minister Anurag Thakur on Wednesday said that the Cabinet has approved the Cinematograph Act 2023, which will be brought to the upcoming Parliamentary Session.

A civil court rejected a plea to restrain the broadcast of teasers, trailer and advertisements of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer film, Pathaan as well as its song, Besharam Rang on YouTube without a U/A censor certificate.
