Daily shows in cinemas rose to 623 in 2022 but number of theatres goers declined: Delhi handbook

The average number of cinema shows per day in Delhi has increased from 450 in 2010 to 623 in 2022, according to the Delhi Statistical Handbook-2023. The number of cinema goers per day has declined over the past 13 years. The number of theatres in Delhi has also increased from 129 in 2008 to 137 in 2022. Additionally, the number of multiplexes has risen from 21 in 2008 to 33 in 2022.
