Police: Woman dead after motorcycle crash on State Route 126 A woman is dead after a motorcycle crash on State Route 126. Jill Bloomer, 56, was driving her motorcycle Saturday at approximately 5:30 p.m. when she lost control of her motorcycle, according to police. She traveled off the right side of the road at the 27.2 milepost and struck a guardrail, police said. Bloomer sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to University of Cincinnati Hospital Medical Center where she later died from her injuries. Excessive speed and impairment do not appear to be factors in this crash. Any witnesses to this crash are asked to contact the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.

Man facing life-threatening injuries after crashing his motorcycle

A man is in critical condition after crashing his motorcycle early Saturday morning.  The Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to a report of a crash with serious injuries on Boudinot Avenue around 4 a.m.  Investigators say a man was riding a 2003 Yamaha R6 motorcycle east on Mozart Avenue crossing Boudinot Avenue when the accident happened. The man struck a curb, lost control, and was thrown from his motorcycle coming to rest on Harrison Avenue, according to police.  He sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash and was transported by the Cincinnati Fire Department to the University of Cincinnati Hospital Medical Center where he is being treated and is listed in critical condition.
