A single-vehicle rollover fatal crash has killed three people, injured two others, and left I-75 south closed in Grant County, Kentucky State Police said.
The cause of the crash involving an SUV remains unclear, said Trooper Corey Elliott. Elliott said the interstate s southbound lanes will remain closed while officers investigate.
Police responded to the crash at about 6 p.m. at the 153-mile marker, Elliott said. The location is near Williamstown.
There were six people, all males, in the vehicle, he said. Three have died. One critically injured male was flown by medical helicopter to Univerisity of Cincinnati Hospital Medical Center, Elliott said.

Kentucky police have identified the three people killed Monday in a fatal SUV rollover crash as Dayton, Ohio, residents.
Police said the crash happened about 6 p.m. at the 153-mile marker on I-75 south near Williamstown. The crash closed I-75 south until about 10:30 p.m. Monday, police said.
It s unclear why the GMC Yukon began to drift and struck a guardrail, Kentucky State Police said in a release.
Passengers Efrain Rivera-Mancha, 42, and Johnathan Contreras-Rivera 29, also died at the scene.
All of the men are residents of Dayton, Ohio, police said.

CINCINNATI â Police identified the man hit and killed by a driver on Interstate 471 on Tuesday.
A driver hit 57-year-old Wayne Green as he tried to cross the interstate at the 5.3 mile marker at about 10:40 p.m. on April 6, according to Cincinnati police.
The driver was driving a 2020 Honda Fit northbound on the interstate when she struck Green. First responders transported him to University of Cincinnati Hospital Medical Center, where he died on Sunday.
Cincinnati police identified the woman as Paula Medel, 82.
Officials said Rafael Medel, 83, was backing out of a driveway at home on the 900 block Olive Avenue in a 2000 Ford Ranger right before the crash.
Paula Medel was on the sidewalk when she was struck by the Ford Ranger, according to investigators.
Police said she sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash and was transported the University of Cincinnati Hospital Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Police said Rafael Medel was wearing a seatbelt and excessive speed or impairment do not appear to be factors in the crash.
