A new food truck park has opened at 1716 N. Hall St. in Old East Dallas. Chuckwagon Park will host a revolving lineup of food trucks, and to kick things off this weekend they ll be giving out free beer with any $10 purchase. And that, my friends, is how you become a good neighbor.
Patrick Donlin with Chuckwagon Park said they opened last weekend for neighborhood walkup traffic, a soft-opening of sorts, while putting the final touches on a parking lot. He said they’ve heard people had wanted this type of experience in the neighborhood, but the challenge has been getting the word out and he worries about turning drivers into diners.

Blue Sushi Sake Grill to bring cult-status ramen to DFW
A new partnership between Flagship Restaurant Group, owners of Blue Sushi Sake Grill, and internationally-known New York noodle restaurant Ivan Ramen, will bring dishes from the ramen house to diners in Dallas and Fort Worth. Through the program, which has already launched in Flagship’s home state of Nebraska, Blue Sushi Sake Grills will prepare chef Ivan Orkin’s drool-worthy dishes, including ramen, steamed pork buns, spicy pickles and more, for delivery and takeaway. According to CultureMap, the program will launch on February 18 at Blue Sushi Sake Grill in Fort Worth, and later in March at the Dallas location. Diners can order by visiting IvanRamen.com.
