BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) Â Battle Creek Police say an 18-year-old male will not face charges in the March stabbing death of his motherâs boyfriend.
Calhoun County Prosecutor David Gilbert said the teen identified as Jose Serbantez acted in self defense when he stabbed 43-year-old Christopher Dykstra on March 17th.
Police found Dykstra dead around 12:30 that morning, laying in a driveway with a single stab wound in his chest in the 300 block of Main Street.
