Milwaukee Police Responded to a possible snowrelated death early this morning. Morning. A 55yearold man collapsed while shoveling snow. And later died at the ho. Hospital. Cbs 58s Lindsey Branwall joins us live from froedtert with details. Lindsey. The man died here at the hospital this morning. Block of west keefe. Police got there just before 6 am shoveling is a regular part of life in wisconsin. But sadly we report on a handful of snow shoveling deaths every year. We spoke with doctor amar ambardecker from Aurora Health care. Who says these deaths are often caused by heart attacklifting heavy snow in the cold can be hard on the elderly or people with preexisting conditions. But people 3 3 when its colder outside, your blood vessels constrict, it gets a little harder to the blood flow to the heart so it can exascerbate symptoms that may not have really been there if the temperature was normal normal when youre out shoveling, make sure you go slow, take breaks, and listen to your body
