Three area chapters of the Alzheimer Society will consolidate operations under one banner, the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners, this summer.
The London and Middlesex, Elgin-St. Thomas and Oxford chapters will merge at the start of July, the organizations announced Thursday in a statement.

“Becoming one agency will mean more streamlined services, not having to tell your story over and over again, and with time, providing more programs and services across Elgin, Middlesex and Oxford Counties,” Malcolm Wood, chair of the St. Thomas-Elgin board of directors, said.
