Greenbu greenberg. Tonight the number of people in florida ordered to evacuate topped 6 million as we get a better picture of when and where the potentially catastrophic hurricane will hit. Heres what we know right now. Ir irma is expected to strengthen before it makes landfall in florida, but the state is already feeling the impact of the hurricanes power. 32,000 people are already without power. The storm surge can be anywhere between 5 and 15 feet, enough to completely cover cars and houses.
