This is the scene on east stella street where the shooting happened around 1 00 this morning. Officers found the victim lying on the sidewalk. A 17yearold girl is dead after she was stabbed several times in philadelphias hunting park neighborhood. The attack happened about 3 30 this morning in the parking lot of the walgreens at broad and hunting park avenue. The teen was taken to the hospital where she later died. So far police have not made any arrests in the case. Police have made an arrest in the murder of an elderly philadelphia woman. The suspect is a neighborhood handyman. Police along with u. S. Marshals arrested 37yearold leroy wilson early yesterday. Is he now charged in the death of 85yearold regina brunner. According to investigators, wilson was a handyman in the neighborhood and did work for brunner and others. Brunner was found dead inside of her home on monday. Her son discovered her. She was beaten and her throat was slashed. Neighbors tell us theyre hoping police have their man. If if hes the one. Im glad hes off the street.
