The 51 annual Upstate South Carolina Boat Show ends Sunday at the Greenville Convention Center. Like many events over the last year, the show looks slightly different this year.The show features almost 500 different kinds of boats and watercraft and other boat accessories. This year, there will also be COVID-19 safety precautions in place. “As soon as you walk in the door, you’ll see signage trying to separate people,” Greenville Convention Center general manager John Wilusz said. “You’ll see hand sanitizers. You’ll see sneeze guards.”The convention center is also operating under a 50% capacity limit. Masks are also required on the show floor.“That will allow us about 5,000 people in this hall,” Wilusz said. “We have the advantage of having space. Our total exhibit space for the show is about 230,000 square feet, so people can easily social distance.”Wilusz says they don’t expect to reach anywhere near that capacity limit though.
