Conway artist Christopher R. Serra has a long interest in the contrast between different materials and exploiting their characteristics. He knows that the coarseness of painted and oxidized steel combined with the roughness of poured concrete can be beautiful in some way.
He will show his work, alongside that of fellow Conway artist John F. Galt, in a new exhibit, “Metal in Bloom,” May 6-30, at the Oxbow Gallery in Northampton.
