The governor announced the state conducted over 600 tests and was planning on opening a second testing site monday. Gov. Murphy sorry to be, again, a few minutes behind, which is my bad. Its good to be in Bergen County. I havent been here in a couple of weeks, jim. Ive been under the weather, so its nice to be back. I also want to thank our friends, in particular at Bergen County college here, starting with president dr. Michael redmond, whos a dear friend, and i want to thank him for hosting us so graciously today, as he always has. I had the great opportunity a couple of years ago to deliver the commencement address to the graduates of this fine institution, and it was one of the highlights during my time as governor. And i want to thank him and his team for opening their door to us today on his campus and his community. And, obviously, its been a big day here. More on that in a minute. Im here with a cavalcade of vips, so i want to thank a woman who needs no introduction immediately

New york city hit with its deadliest fire in deck wades with wind fueled flames ripping through a five story Apartment Building in the bronx built back in 1916. This is the worst fire tragedy we have seen in this city in at least a quarter century. People were screaming fire, help. We knew it was trouble. 12 dead already. We may lose others as well. Among the dead a oneyearold child. Others injured were left fighting for their lives. In a department thats certainly no stranger to tragedy, were shocked by this loss. People died on various floors. Began around 6 45 am. We were in the evacuation area, downwind from the refinery. In fact, next to it. Its being evacuated at this moment. Milero claims that when its power from pg e was somehow disrupted, that caused a pressure buildup inside the refining unit and that buildup was dangerous enough for valero to activate its fire stacks. Flare stacks are huge a pressure relief valve that literally burn off pressurized materials that contain lots of petrochemicals. The stacks dispose of the materials that might otherwise explode or severely pollute the atmosphere should they escape. Make no mistake, these are noxious and toxic compounds. Valero said it has initiated the proper notifications to government officials and Community Members which the government does acknowledge. That resulted in a lot of sheltering in place which is still going on. The area in which we were was very much, as i say, evacuated. We are currently at the library where the press conference is going on. This is a b
