She’s spent the last 16 hours on the maternity ward surrounded by babies – despite not seeing her own for nine weeks. Shielding from loved ones is a sacrifice made daily by midwives at Royal Bolton Hospital.
But amid the nightmare of the pandemic, a sense of wonder fills the ward.
