AN overwhelmed midwife says she feels extremely privileged after a new mum that she cared for decided to name her first baby after her. Baby Selin was born at Royal Bolton Hospital on March 3, weighing 9lb, to mum Suzan and dad Faith. Midwife Celena Biggs has worked at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust for 10 years, starting as a healthcare assistant before qualifying as a midwife two and a half years ago. She supported mum Suzan Selcuk through her labour, who was anxious about giving birth. She was so grateful for the care and compassion she received that she called her little girl Selin.
